Not buying software and Piracy Rulz is fine till you are not running your own setup But once you have your own setup and one fine day get a LEGAL NOTICE from the software manufacture you start thinking can I afford not to buy. The legal provision is non-bailable arrest under the Patent rules. Recently an archi firm got raided. they had some 10 odd comps running illegal copies and the damages claimed were Rs. 25 Lakhs.
We were recently provided with a free upgrade to latest version of CADian, which is cadian 2006. Now it is also able to handle large size files with far better speed. AutoCAD now really need to be cautious.

Cadian2006 is almost like autocad and all the commands of autocad(98% almost)
same. Even the screen it is almost like autocad. the file size is a bit too large.

In Tamil nadu IIA chapter they negotiated and  CADIAN2006 was made available for INR 7850/= it is worth it man .

Intellicad from koria is making all patch versions to remove the bugs u all say.
and also it is user friendly. i feel cadian2006,only thin which is just a cousin to autocad.....

Hi there!

Did you know that the ArchiCAD 10 now free for download?

This is an educational version, meaning that only students and teachers are allowed to download. Except the water sign on the left corner it is just like the full version.

All you have to do is register to get the 30 days trial-code, while Graphisoft checks your student status, then you can get the year's code.(it can be extended if your studies goes beyond).

Download ArchiCAD 10!!!!!
