Steel quality used in Mumbai Skyscrapers-impact on structure
« on: December 31, 2008, 02:52:58 PM »
Hi all,

Was curious about the steel quality that the builders use in projects that are very tall (>35 floors).

Do they use only high quality branded players or also steel coming from the Local Rolling mills?

With the indian practices and law i dont think they are uder compulsion to use steel from only high quality suppliers (Tata, Jindal, SAIL)

Additionaly will be great if you can give example of tall building in mumbai that are made using rerolled steel?
